Veteran Forum

Hi, my name is Samantha Lin and I am a veteran.  I own 5 Elements, an acupuncture and massage clinic in Bartlesville.

As a veteran who has experienced the frustration of receiving beneficial information after the fact, I wanted to find a way to minimize it, if not avoid it.  After speaking with other veterans, my sentiment was echoed.  Veterans would like to know what benefits they are eligible for and how to successfully navigate through the process to obtain them without receiving conflicting information from multiple sources.  

Creating a platform for veterans coming together to support each other was my solution to these challenges.  I believe overcoming obstacles is always best achieved through team effort especially when we can involve veterans who have already navigated the process successfully!

It is my hope that this platform can be of service to my fellow veterans.  In addition to the information that would be posted, this is also the site to announce future veteran gatherings to be held periodically (spouses are also invited to join).  At these meetings, various speakers will be invited to provide information that would be helpful to veterans.  The gatherings would also provide the opportunity for all attending to share information openly and freely.  Another goal of meeting is to fellowship, share food, and possibly collaborate on ideas of common interests that would be beneficial to all through the strength in numbers, knowledge, and talent. 

In the event that a veteran cannot make it to the gatherings, the meeting will be recorded and posted here for viewing at one’s convenience.  This site will also be where we link videos of instructions in order to better assist veterans in some application process for various assistance.
